Abstract:
The PUSPATI TRIGA Reactor (RTP) has been safely operated for the last 25 years with no
incidents as listed in the unusual event reporting categories being reported. However, in order to maintain the reactor integrity, several reactor systems or components have been repaired, refurbished or replaced over the years,. The reassessment of the present physical protection system and emergency preparedness at the reactor site has also been conducted to reflect the recent emphasis placed on the security of research reactors world wide. The strategies for ensuring the continued safety and security of the reactor are elaborated below.
